Call For Submissions

Posting this call for submissions for my dear friends Gopinath and Nagasuseela who have Organised a commendable poetry festival at Guntur year after year. In addition, they have brought out wonderful anthologies of the selected poems. To pull this off consistently each year and make it a grand success every time requires tireless dedication and immense zeal.

Please do submit your best writes to this festival.

                                                        CALL FOR POEMS

            Welcome to the Seventh Poetry Festival. Since 2008 we’ve been organizing the Poetry Fests at National & International levels. We owe our sincere thanks to all the poets who gave us support in materializing the previous Fests. We are organizing these fests on our own.

A number of poets from all over the world are going to participate in the 7thInternational Poetry Fest- 2014 to reveal various facets of the world at present. We are hosting this ‘Fest’ to promote Love, World Peace, Nature and Human Values. We request you to send us two of  your unpublished poems on or before 25th February, 2014.

1)There’ll be Poetry reading sessions on 19th and 20th September,2014 at J.K.C.College, Guntur, A.P., India. All the poets whose poems have been selected for presentation, will get a chance to recite their two poems before a host of poets and vast audience from all over India and Abroad.

2)Best poems recommended by the panel will be brought out in the form ofan anthology with ISBN.

We trust that  the poems will transform the young minds to noble human beings because they focus on love,  world peace and human values.

                 A Brief Profile of Mr P.Gopichand & Ms P.Nagasuseela

 Mr P.Gopichand & Ms P.NagaSuseela are  teaching English Language and Literature  for21 years, guided 25 M.Phils ,together presented more than  70 research papers in International Conferences & Seminars and Symposia.; delivered 30 guest lectures on Communication Skills , Personality development, Phonetics, acted as Resource Persons, Organized  work shops, Seminars etc for teachers, lecturers and students in different colleges in our state. They are bilingual poets. They write poems, sonnets, haiku, Zen etc. So far they wrote 350 short &long poems in free verse, 2000 Haiku, 300 Zen, 200 Chowakshar, 100 Sparks, 100 Senolite, 50 Acrostic and 100 wings both in English and Telugu. They translated many poems from Telugu to English. They wrote lessons to University material to Degree, P.G., and M. Phil courses.
